THEFT, SOLON ROAD: Police are investigating the reported theft of a 2003 Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary Soft Tail Deuce EFI motorcycle, valued at $10,000-$20,000, from the Citadel Apartments.

THEFT, SOLON ROAD: Another theft was reported Saturday at Citadel Apartments, when a resident witnessed a man throw a couple of bags of salt into his white Chevy pick-up truck, then drive off. The resident gave police a partial license-plate identification.

DOMESTIC/CUSTODY DISPUTE, E. WASHINGTON ST.: The divorced mother and father of a boy playing in a basketball tournament at the Intermediate School got into an argument on Feb. 3 over who would be taking the boy that night. The mother, from Cleveland, argued that the father had the 11-year-old the night before at his home in Shaker Heights and had therefore “forfeited” his visitation rights for the day.

When she realized the father had called police, she called them back to report he had a weapon, which police said was not located. Police found no evidence of violence, but sent the boy home with the mother, since she is the custodial parent.

UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION, WASHINGTON ST.: After a security detail reported a possibly intoxicated student attending a Feb. 2 high school basketball game between Chagrin Falls and Kenston, police took a 17-year-old Bainbridge girl into custody. she admitted to drinking a couple of beers, then insisted, according to the police report, on taking a breath test, which registered .234, nearly three times over the legal limit of impairment — for adult drivers.

ABANDONED VEHICLE, W. ORANGE ST.: Police located the owner of an apparently disabled 1998 Plymouth Voyager parked on village property Feb. 3 and told her that it would be towed after several days. The owner said she was making arrangements, but as of Sunday, it had not been moved.

STUDENT AT LARGE, E. WASHINGTON ST.: Police assisted a guidance counselor in pursuit of a student who ran off from school on Feb. 4 and was located in front of Falls Travel. Police turned him over to school authorities.
